Just bought a '97 300ex, plan the usual slipon/jet kit/airbox lid. Right now it has a nasty looking rusty header pipe, I know someone that got a full exhaust still has that stocker laying around and would rather have money. Anyone?

Anyone know how to use the classified section?

 

Theres usually a couple for sale at any one time on ebay, and the price isnt too bad. I did a search on 300ex exhaust, and 3 are currently for sale.

 

I looked on ebay, the prices aren't too bad but for some reason the people there believe it should cost ~$20 to ship.

Thats the ebay game. They lower the price and jack up the shipping. Just look at the total cost, the shipping they charge is subsizing the sale. Sure beats buying a new one from honda.
There are also some atv boneyards out there, their shipping is more reasonable, you can send an email, and see how much they want.
