EBS on '01 Recon
#4
paulgp602,
let me try and clearify this for you a little more.
On your Recon,[or any gear driven quad]when descending a very steep hill, you can shift it down into first gear to assist you in slowing the quad down the hill.
On automatic quads, you have no gears to help slow your momentum down on the descend of the hill.
This is where EBS comes in.It does the same thing for you as the 1st gears do on a gear driven quad.EBS will stop the quad from ''free wheeling'' down the hill. Some EBS systems are a little better than others. From what I've personally seen so far, they all work pretty darn good,
