Rancher performance???

What can I do to my 2x4 '01 rancher to get a gain in performance that I will notice without "breaking the bank" ?? Thanx for any input!!

Highlifter's power kit will add significant low end and midrange grunt for added performance, or about the same performance wioth larger diameter mud tires.IT costs $355. Is that breaking the bank?
