If i were you i'd take a serious look at ITP mudlites, they are awesome tires. They are light and easy on your drivetrain. If you don't like those. Check out the gators, also a light good dig tire for a Rancher which doesn't have all the punch for those big deep lugs. But these two choices are both great, i've seen both kinds in action and they both perform great.
you can find the itp's at itptires.com
and the gators at gbc.com

I've got Bear Klaws on my 05 Rancher, 25-10 front and 25-12.5 rear on the stock rims. No problems with them, however they are 6 ply and ride a little (maybe a lot) stiffer (rougher) than stock, but no worries about flats now. The 12.5's look almost as wide as a drag slick on the back. They seem to be good tires for the terrain I ride in, hardpack dirt and rocks, with some short steep hills. Haven't had them in any mud yet, pretty dry here now. Tires track well and climb out of ruts with ease. The machine seems more agile now, mainly due to the 6 ply tires not flexing while turning. The 12.5's are heavier than others but I haven't noticed any loss of ability or power to go where I want to go and I'm not a speed rider anyway.

I have posted a pic on my profile of my rancher w/ the mudbugs...I don't have a lift kit on it. I haven't had problems with rubbing. You should be able to turn them over pretty easily...however you will be using first gear more. I did lose a little top end. I would def. recomend these tires to anyone. If you have any more questions, I will be happy to answer them the best I can.
