Hello, folks,

A friend has an old 80's model honda fourtrax 250 and sometimes the neutral light will come on and sometimes not. If he moves the kickstarter a hair the light will come on. Is this the neurtral switch itself or something else?

Any help is appreciated.

 

When playing w/ the kickstarter, is he possibly moving a wire to make a connection for the neutral lite? If you have the exact year and model I can tell you where the neutral switch is and then you can test the switch and related wires.
