Default Clutch lever hard to pull in

Sup guys, i have a 2001 400ex. The clutch lever is really hard to pull though. I have a ASV shorty clutch lever. If i ajust the little wheel on the top to make the clutch eaiser, the clutch wont engage. Where its at now, it engages but its just so hard to pull though. What do you guys think? Thanks

Try a new cable. You might be amazed at what $15 can do.

I agree with TractorPacker. My clutch was so hard to pull that it took two hands. I sent a little WD-40 down the inside of the cable, that made is so much easier to pull it was amazing. Then the cable finally broke shortly there after... figures...
