Theres a switchamaroo on the clutch that tells your ride wether or not to start. If the clutch is pulled, it goes. If the clutch is let out, it won't start unless it's in neutral.

 

Uhh. You bottomed me out. I donno where your ICM is. Mines up front by the shocks. Lemme get this straight. You put in a new "fourwheeler engine go" button, not a new key switch, right?

On a TRX 300 4x4? You must be thinking of a sport quad.

Donno if it helps, but the ignition switch on my quad seems to eventually run next to about EVERY OTHER STOOPID WIRE in my entire fourwheeler, so my best guess is that you didn't make wiring mistakes, you just jarred something loose during installation. Check 'er over.
