shock adjustment?

Default shock adjustment?

i have a 2005 trx 400ex. i weigh 230lbs the quad is rated for 190lbs. should i adjust the shocks? if so which direction? front and back? any special tools? thanks in advance.

i wouldnt mess with them probly do more dammage then good unless your bottomin gout really bad on jumps and stuff then tighten them up a little.

Actually it is rated for 243lbs. Your manual will tell you how to adjust the suspension.

thanks, i was going by what someone said on a different forum on the rated weight. i did see that in my manual. i don't think i'll change anything. thanks again blue600

The weight rating is on the left rear fender with the tire pressures.
