Default 2004 Recon shifting problem

I have a 2004 Recon that has ran perfectly up until now. When using the electric shift, the recon runs well in 1st-4th gear...but when shifted to 5th...it will not move. Any ideas? There are no grinding or odd noises...It's like it is in neutral.

I haven't tried the manual shifter.

The recon may have a total of 15 hours (and that is pushing it).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Odd, to say the least. If it only does it in one gear, you can rule out anything thats associated w/ all the gears like clutch, drive shaft, etc. Are you sure its going into 5th gear or is it inbetween 4th and 5th? Does the light for 5th gear light up?

I light says that it is in 5th gear..however, it's acting like it is in between 4th and 5th...like it is in neutral. You can put it in 5th and rev the motor up...it'll just keep rolling.

use the manual shift lever, and while going down the road, use the electric shift till 4th then put the lever on and see if it will go to fifth, although it sounds like a mechanical problem, not an actuall shifting problem with the es
