Default 88 warrior or 02 400ex? which one?

ok guys need some advice. a few weeks ago i bought a 1988 warrior 350, needed new battery, and the starter clutch went out after i got it, $125. but i also got extra a arms, shocks front rear, spindles, swingarm, axle, and bandit tires on douglas rims front and rear, plus a eliminator axle +4, all for 1250. but something just doesent "feel right" when im riding it. feels hard to turn, doesent handle very good to me. but i came aacross a 2002 400ex thats in pretty good shape with a big tear in seat but comes with with prm grab bar, DG nerfs, shredder tires, and extra stock set of rear rims and tires, plus a helmet for 2200. now will i like the 400ex better than my warrior? i ride mostly trails, wide open roads/fields, and mx track. seems like my warrior bottems out easily on the track and jumping it. will the 400ex fit me better or shall i stay with my warrior? i also like doing wheelies, jumping, driving around town, and the ocassinal donuts. -jeff

no comparison. you'll like the 400ex alot more for what you're doing. that's a good price for it too.

The 400ex will make the warrior feel heavy and slow the only thing you mightmiss is reverse.

The reason the Warrior feels like it doesn't handle very good for you, is because it doesn't handle very good for anybody!

Is this really a valid question? I guess it could be. Is the reverse selector switch that important to you?

The 400ex is a better quad all the way around. If reverse is really important to you, just save up a little more and start looking for a 2005 or 2006 400ex.
