#1
I jut took my new 06 Honda 5oo foreman out and when i downshift from 5th gear to 4th, the bike completely shuts down. Its almost like when the revs go up when you downshift it dies. Any explanation for this???

thats weird..
but i do recall that happening on my racher.. although i think i was doing something wrong.. i was spinning in circles on the ice
haha so when i down shifted i woudl ahve to keep on the gas or it would stall.. but doesnt happen on normal riding conditions

This bike is brand new...like 2 hours on it...the tank is full. I took it out again today and same thing...when i downshifted from 5th to forth...it died. I would say it idles fine mabye a bit low that it will stall sometimes on warm idle. I will find out tomorrow when i bring it back to the shop.

heres the scoop, remember me posting earlier about how the sales guy never showed me squat about the bike?? Well today i found out that i was running with the choke in the on position causing the bike to die out...live and learn ...ride on.
