You've never heard of the GST cut??? What ATV have you been living under

If you go for the Outlander at $9800, you'd save just over $98 in Taxes if you wait until after July 1st. If you live in Quebec (Where the PST also Taxes GST, then you'd save about $105). The Honda on the other hand would let you save $86 in taxes (between $92 and $93 in Quebec).

There are always "nice" finance options to choose from. One thing I've noticed about all sorts of deals (cars, ATVs, computers, etc) is that there is always some sort of deal. Do what you want, but I would not recommend locking yourself in for a 4 or 5 year financing deal.

A guy at work works for about $8-$9 each hour. He just bought a brand new 2006 (or 2005) Honda 450r. He said he's paying it off over 5 years. I'm probably one year older than him and I make almost $8.00 an hour (keep in mind that these numbers are CANADIAN) and I paid CASH for my 2001 400ex. It's not as great as a 450r, but it's still an awesome bike and it's what I can afford at the moment. ANYBODY can afford financing, but it's not the smartest thing to do unless you are very certain that your employment situation will be stable or get better. You never know what expenses you will incur down the road. For instance, just after I bought my 400ex, I had to put a new gas tank on my '97 Cavalier that cost me $500. I had enough for it, but if I had of bought a new bike, I would have been stranded. Oh and I'm also lucky that I have a student loan with 0% interest for 3 more years (then interest as school is DONE!!!)
