i had an 05' trx250ex and i raced my buddy with 500 sportsman his speedo said 59 when we were side by side.. all i had was jet kit..

 

but.. i was going downhill and it was in the rev limiter

 

next to 3 different cars mine did 58 im guessing car speedo's are off by a good 3-4 mph which would seem right because next to a buddy's 400 sportsman his did 53 on the speedo on it wide open and when we i topped mine out he was right next to me so id say about 53-possibly-56 but not to much more than that becasuse blasters are only supposed to do about 57 and mine was no where near my friends 04 blaster, but then i raced a 03 with a dg pipe beat it all the way up through and then he was about a wheeler length behind me when we were both pinned ( i think there was something wrong with it and my freind riding it lol ) 250ex's go pretty good but they are in no way shape or form fast, and honestly i cant see gaining 8mph from a pipe because i could hit the rev limiter with a stock piped ex, and a full system pipe would be hitting the rev limiter pretty fast all day which would hold the pipes full potential back, thus you would not be seeing 8 mph gains from a pipe, and pipes give you a few mph but are mostly torque , acceleration and noise = ] lol sorry for the long drawn blah crap, 53-56 on a stock ex and 54-57 on a piped. but then again i doubt the piped ex's numbers

 

Mine goes 55mph in the dirt and its stock!!

 

According to what measuring device? I just can't see a stock 250EX hitting much over 50.

 

I ran beside 2 different four wheelers with a speedometer and both said 55

 

Hi my first time on here .Do you now how to get more speed out of the 2006 recon es with out spending a lot of money or no money.

 

A supertrap exhaust system should give you a couple more mph. It will also get you there
a little bit faster.

 

Where can i get it and do you know how much and is there something i can do with out buying anything

There might be a baffle in your silencer that you can take out. That should give it a noticable
power increase.
