Can I lower my Rincon?
. Seems to me that the Rincon is a great handling quad for most riders but has marginal ground clearance plus it is already 46.8 in wide. So any mods that either lower or widen the quad could compromise a very good overall package in rough/tight situations.

Ground clearance is more then adequate so thats not an issue. I've been coaching her on riding and how to lean etc. but she's ridden just FOUR times so it's gonna take quite a while for her to get really comfortable, just thought this might help some.

If you just want the better handling then a new set of tires will really make the difference. The stockers suck. They roll way to much in a turn. But by adding a different backspacing on the wheel will make it very wide. Less likely to tip on uneven ground. But at the expense of what? This may cause an argument. But it will wear on the bearings more. Plus getting through some trails will be down right impossible. If you want a wider stance you will need a wheel from a solid axle machine. But better tires on the stock rims will make a night and day difference. ATR's are good but all around riding look at the Bighorns. You can check prices on line through atvoutfitters.net. But by calling will give you a better price.
