My biggest problem is the back tires dont stick to the ground and spin alot. Then when it catches it rasies the front end off the ground and stearing becomes hard.

yeah i have really had a problem keeping the front tires on the ground, and tires dont last long they spin a lot.... no but on a serious note.... the skip plates are weak, the one on the swing arm is plastic, i tore that up in about 3 months, bought a solid alum one from the local shop for $65 its real nice, I am thinkin of getting the engine skid replaced too... Def a must for desert riding, i ride in a lot of dry river beads and rocks are a bit$%....

man, i am jealous, it is so dry and dusty where i live, i can barly get my front tires off the ground. it takes pulling hard on the handle bars to get off the ground. i have yet to ride on pact sticky dirt.

I love my 06 450er, but I'm having the hot start problem others have complained about. When its cold, it fires right up. But when it's hot, it just won't start. Let it sit for 2 minutes, and it's fine. I ran my battery dead a couple times trying to start it out on the trails. It bump starts w/ no problems when hot, but rarely fires right back up after a stall when hot using the electric start. I gotta get it to the dealer before my warranty runs out.

youre lucky you have the electric start in this case. i have the kick start and when you stall good luck.... I have had the kick starter kick back at me and say goodnight to your shins. ouch
