I have a very squeeky front end on my rancher... anyone have any advice?? Also getting ready to go ATV camping in the forrest so any prep ideas in general would be most helpful.

You didn't say what year your Rancher was, but this worked on my 04. Pull the front shocks off and check to see if they have a metal bushing in the lower mount. That bushing fits inside another metal bushing and they get rusty. Clean and use a good grease(marine grease for boat trailer bearings works best). I polished the upper ones too but they didn't seem to be causing any problems. One thing I did notice is that fixing the shocks also fixed a bind that keeps the front from rotating through corners.

do you ride in the water much? the foreman i use to have started squeaking in 2 months-- i rode in a lot of water and mud.

You'll have to manually re-grease the bushings and shocks-- does the rancher have grease joints?

For camping-- if you are going to some remote area-- be sure to take a flare gun or some kind of flare & air horn incase something happens. Take a few MRIs if you have access to these even though you may not plan on using them.
