Default Broken Oil Cooler Line Bolt on 400EX...Will drilling make me lose pressure?

I have an 02 400EX with lots of stuff done to it. I broke the lower oil cooler line bolt off inside the right side cover. Then, I broke an easy out off trying to get it out. I dropped the cover off at the machine shop today. He said the only way to get it out is to drill all the way through the cover. If I use Quick Steel to patch the hole on the inside, then use thread locker on the bolt, do you think it will leak and/or lose pressure? He's gonna charge me like $35 or so. A new cover is $200. But, It HAS to be right. What do you guys think?
