Hello everyone i bought a brand new 05 honda recon es and i was wandering what kind of exhaust would be best for it. i was looking to buy it in like a year when i finally get the money. i was looking for the cheapest slip on, but get the most porformence out of it!!!! Should I get a slip on? I wanted this for more sound and performance.

 

hmf !! they wont have one fore the recon so get the 250ex one ! there the same thing!

 

Does anyone know if the Recon ES aftermarket parts are interchangeable? That is to say, an aftermarket part for an '05 Recon will fit an '07 Recon? Thanks.

I put an HMF utility series on my rancher, i bought the quiet core with it, and it's not super loud, it barks a little when i get on it, but it sounds like the stock exhaust at idle up to 1/4 throttle, so i can still use it for hunting. Has pretty decent power gains, more than i expected, that is if it's jetted right. If you ride public trails i would recommend either the utility/quiet core, or the HMF ecosytem, which is even quieter. The recon wont be really loud anyways since it's a pretty small engine. You could check out FMF too, i'm sure they have slip-ons that would work.
