side effects of a lift
#2
A lift for the Foreman is pretty simple to install. So if you had to take it back in for work, you could always remove it. Asking if it will wear parts more quickly is like opening a can of worms. Everything points at YES it will wear more quickly. Why? Because it changes the suspension geometry. Puts more load on the CV joints etc. Mine was lifted about 2 in for around a thousand miles. Nothing happened. But that was mine and yours maybe the same way or you could end up replacing everything. Its gonna depend on what you do with it. I see them lifted all the time.

I would agree with Rinman, things should wear out as there is more stress on certain parts. I installed my High Lifter 2" lift to install 27" tires a few years ago, ride it weekly and most weekends and have had no problems or breakage. Now if your muddin and running it hard everytime you have it out, expect something to give. Yes it would probably void the warranty, mine was not covered under any warranty so I did not have to worry about that. The lift was pretty easy to install, I installed it by myself on a Saturday... Good Luck

thanks for the info. if i decided to lift mine, i could take it off and put it back to stock for any dealer work? i would think about the only thing that might wear out would be the front cv's.
