Who is happy with their stock honda?

Hey there,
Yes, riding with all of the members on this thread would be great....if it were only possible. I rode with a guy who has a modded 400ex, he's a pretty good rider as well.....I do remember times when I'd round a corner and say "where'd he go?" He had some slick acceleration.....I also recall his exhaust, if I got too close it would peel my eyelids back.

That was all back when I only had the recon....now I can't wait to rejoin my riding buddies on the 250EX. I still haven't ridden yet (it's been nearly 3 weeks)....see my other post "Can't ride due to illness....this sucks!" and you'll know what I'm referring to.

The only downside to mods is most of them put undue stress on areas not intended, which cause premature wear. just my 2 cents. I considered mods and decided not to , I like to keep my hondas dependable. Not as much fun bot a whole lot cheaper! Just remember this, for every action there is a reaction! gitrdun!

Well....i hear were you are coming from, but i know people who fry the top end of their motor and while their at it just go ahead and put a big bore kit in it......or that wreck and break the a-arms, so aftermarket is better so just buy that.....it makes since doesn't it? Just a thought of why 'weekend warriors' have multiple upgrades.....they just can't seem to keep it on all 4 wheels Another theory would be they have it for multiple yrs and it wears out.....why buy OEM when you could buy AFTERMARKET!!! seems rather logical in that sense......
