Any of you add an extra fuel tank to the front or rear rack of your wuad. I sort of want one that would get plumbed right into the fuel system so I dont have to take it off, just flip a valve. Anyone know of any makes or web sites where I could buy one?
Thanks

I don't know about an "extra" fuel tank, but if you go to www.imsplastics.com they make aftermarket tanks. I run a "desert" tank and it increases my fuel by 1.4 gallons.

Code54,

I have seen one in my snowmobile magazines. Its like a second tank & flip a valve inorder to switch from the primary (original) tank to the secondary.

I can't remember the name.

I saw water and fuel packs somewhere. They held 6 gallons and mounted on the front or rear rack. They were long, wide and thin, and fit the rack nicely. They made them for water and fuel. Try Dennis Kirk or the back of dirtwheels, theres lots of ads in there.

I just seen that snow mobile one also, now that is the right idea. It is reall simple. Hook the vent line from your tank to the extra tank, and the vacume pulls the extra fuel into your main tank. Vent the extra tank and you are done. May have to "built" one if I can't find one to buy. The othe idea is that 3.2 gal flat fuel pak that gets mounted on the rack, the only bad things about it is having to take it off to refuel and it is $65. That seems expensive for a plastic gas can even thouth it is nice...
Thanks for all the info!!!

I saw one in Rocky Mountain ATV for $64.99, they had one for water and the other for fuel.
