Default Remove rear axel on 2001 TRX 90

I need to replace the rear axel bearings on my son's TRX 90 and I don't know how to remove the rear brake drum off of the axel for removal, or do I need to take the sproket hub off of the axel and slid it out from the right side?

Thanks,

you should be able to loosen the axle nut it take a large adjustable and put it on the nut and turn the rear axle and the nut should come loose you may have to loosen the bolts if there are any on the axle nut and once that is loose the hub should slide off just remember to tighten it back up once you change the bearings and repack them also check the seals to see if they are bad which most likely they are.

bombrider04 I have taken the axel nuts off and the cover for the rear brake but what I need to remove is what I believe to be the brake drum which is on the axel. Thanks

is the axle nut off of the quad altogether I just looked it up and if the pic is right it looks like there are threads on the axle itself so try loosening the brake hub off of the axle I will send you the pic.

Thanks for the help I got everything off and the axel is out. I think all I needed is a bigger hammer.
