185 three wheeler primary stator

Default 185 three wheeler primary stator
Getting a primary stator tomorrow. Any special instructions on replacing it? Looks like you just unsolder the old one and solder the new one..Other advice...can I OHM it and check it before I install it???

Default 185 three wheeler primary stator
you must be replacing just the exciter coil, the term "stator" applies to the whole assembly. Anyways, yes you can just ohm-check it, just to make sure the coil isnt open, or bad.
