Default Warn 424 for 02 rubicon

I was thinking about getting the warn 424 for my 2002 rubicon, and I wanted to know if when I lock it in 4x4 will it lock both front tires at the same time?

It is NOT A LOCKER, that locks your front axle. It is a selectable 2wd/4wd. (Doesn't the Rubi have selectable 2wd/4wd.....can't remember????)

Actually, I like Honda's torque sensing limited slip front axle, and have never felt I ever needed a locker...........

The pre 2005 rubicons were full time 4 wheel drive. The 424 only allows you to disenage the front so power only goes to the rear wheels

So, if you were actually looking to make it a selectable 2wd/4wd, the 424 is highly recommended!

I will probably get one soon. I am planing on geting new tires one day this week so it will be a little while yet. The only thing I am worried about is the rear end failing because the older rubicons were never meant to be ridin in two wheel drive, so I am afraid my rear end might not hold up. I am also afraid the the 424 might fail me sometime out in the mud or someplace that I might really need it. For those of you who have had these for awhile are they still holding up and working properly?
