Default Front break problem

I have a 03 Rancher and 02 Recon Problem I can't keep the front breaks working, every time I ajust them the are good for about a day of riding. (30 miles) Then I have no front breaks, they don't seem to be leaking fluid. I was going to replace the shoes but they don't look that warn ( about 1/8") ??????

it is easy to get water in your fluid, try that. it might not be it. i know i get tired of messing with the brakes on my rancher.

How do I tell if there is water ? I have bled them and it looks fine. Plus I would not think I would have the same problem at the same time with 2 quads.

It's a gold color. If I pump the break leaver, I can get breaks, but once I let off the pressure is gone.

When I replaced the bearings on my Rancher they were dirty but not caked. I cleaned them and adjusted them, but have not been out yet. It dose not make sense to have good breakes and then after a day of riding have nothing. Shoes look good and there is plenty of fluid. ???
