Is a 1997 and 2001 Honda service manual for the Recon the same?Thanks-

I believe they are the same. The reason is if you go to www.helminc.com & look at service manuals they only list one manual for 1997-2001. I know there are not any differences between 2000 & 2001 models.

Yes. The spark plug cap.
