Default Overheating on the Rancher 420

To you guys that have bought the new 420 I have a question. Have any of you had them in deep mud and if so, have you guys had any trouble with mud clogging the radiator and overheating the engine? I know the new body style has an "air scoop?" slit in the front and it seems that would cause mud to go right to the radiator if splashed above the headlights. I have heard about this problem on other liquid-cooled machines and I wonder if anyone has had personal experience (pos. or neg.) with this. Thanks for the response!

No problems to date. I think it is mounted so high that thick mud which could clog it would never reach it.

We don't have any mud to speak of around here so I can't comment on that, but on my last ride which was slow and highly technical and on an 80 degree day, my 420's fan was coming on all the time. Had the old 350 along as well, and I don't think its fan came on even one time.
