a few weeks ago i took out my motor to fix a crack and change my cluch springs.now today i got the motor back in everthing hooked up.now i remember leaving the engine in reverse and now i can shift in all the gears and cant move the part that connects the lever to the engine.tomoro im taking off off the cluch cover to see if something moved so the sencers are not connected anymore.

There is a cable that comes of of the clutch perch, that goes to right rear, lower corner of the engine. It hooks into a small arm, that pivots abot 90 degrees. That arm locks out reverse. Look to see that the cable throws the arm all the way. Push in the red button, pull in the clutch, and then see if the little arm will go further. It will take some sort of wrench and probably a 3rd hand.

i know about that i tryed pushing it with a crow bar and it didnt move.in the cluch cover the lever is connected to a spring and i think when i took off the cover the spring moved it and its being held by the metal plate it sould be on.i was thinking because i can shift thought the gears when the engine is in reverse i messed something up.
