Default Front end popping, any ideas?

I have a 2004 TRX350FE 4x4, and whenever I ride the front end pops. I have not noticed any wheel slippage or any kind of trouble riding. Does anyone know how to stop it or what the problem might be?

Welcome to the forums and I would also check the balljoints and is it when you turn also...Have comeone turn the front end while it is on the ground and then compress your shocks and look to see if you can see anything or if you hear anything.

Also, it may be a bad CV shaft.

It pops constantly. Turning, riding, even coasting downhill. I can replace the cv joints and regrease everything, I just can't afford to buy a new front end right now. I have a 2-4-2 select kit on it as well, it pops everytime it is in 4 wheel drive, but not 2, that is why I'm thinking it is the differential.

You shoulda mentioned that before then I would have to say check your shafts and see if anything got past the boots and such.
