recon dies in water

Default recon dies in water

When i run my recon it usually runs pretty well but once it hits just a little water it dies and then is hard to start back up then idles weird for awhile. What should i do to fix.

stay away from the water sounds like the simpliest thing right.

Your splashing water up onto the exhaust and intake pulls in that steam and it chokes out the motor.

but it is like 2 inches at 7 mph and it will shut it off

1.Check all of your electrical connections, especially ones that could be easily splashed by water. All connections should have dielectric sealant in them.

2. Check your air intake and filter box, make sure all connections are tight.

i used to have a simalar problem, and i solved it by putting dry gas in the tank cause i thought water was somehow getting in. sometimes it still happens to me, one of those things that no one really knows about with recons

splashing water on either an electrical connection, or maybe getting the spark plug wet some how? take it to a car wash or use your hose and start spraying till you figure it out!! good luck!
