Default Painting aluminum rims

Does anyone have any experience painting their factory aluminum rims. I want to paint them a dull color (flat black or
grey) . I was wondering if the paint would hold up on the aluminum. Thanks for your replies.

the paint will chip off and look horrible after a few rides. spend the money and get them powdercoated. well worth it

the paint chipps of after like 2 rides my friend did it 2 his raptor700 and they had chipps after the first ride then the whole color came the lip off the rim after the 2nd ride
