Do what quadfather said, it is the best way to tell. They get alot of little scratches and it fades alittle. Also check tires, but u never know with them.
If it was me I wold pay the extra $300-500 for a brand new one, not a 2 year old one.

 

Thanks for all the help. I checked it out and the grips were really worn. There was also oil and sand grit in the intake tube when I took off the air filter. The mechanic at the shop said both would normal. Is this true.

SAND IN THE INTAKE TUBE!!!! NO THAT"S NOT NORMAL!

awhile ago a couple machines were destroyed due to sand in the intake..

2 reason's caused this
-K&N filter
-Stock filter falling off


if it has a K&N i probably wouldn't get it.
alot of dust int he carb, sand will ruin your engine QUICK

if you think about it, 10 hours of run time is more than you think..

ESPECIALLY during break in. If this dude didn't break it in right, used the wrong oil, never changed the oil, alof of damaga could be done in 10 hours
