Default 06 rancher ECU

I have a 06 rancher es that is 11 monthes old I have been having problems with the shifting since 3 monthes after I bought it, but I always got the we can't find the problem, or we can't duplicate the problem. I took it back 2 monthes ago and they changed angle sensor and I still had a code in the system a 3. They said it was shifting right and ride it, it started acting up again a month ago and I took it back they changed ecu now and there is no codes and it is shifting right. How can I get this covered under warranty beings that it has been an on going problem since before the warranty run out, or am I sol.

call up honda's consumer department, the dealer should have the number. have all you receipts and stuff ready, and tell them what was going on, maybe they'll pay for it, maybe they'll meet halfway on the price, who knows, worth a shot.

I called Honda customer service yesterday and she told me that she would call the dealer and discuss it with them, but it wasn't Hondas fault that the dealer did not call Tech support or that they could not diagnose it. She said she would see what she can do.
