Default clipped spring?

Myself, I believe the fine diameter of the wire and number of coils clipped really will not be noticed as far as stiffness on top end.

Propnut, No I have not noticed any adverse affects of doing this mod. I've done it on several quads and the results were the same. Now I'm not going to dispute that its not affecting my topend. But where I ride 40mph is taking your life into your own hands. My 05 Rincon would still do 60 plus. But thats not what I was after. I want 0-40. I actually done a bunch of acceration testing and liked the cut stock spring and needle over the dynojet spring and raised needle. It was several mph faster with these than with the dynojet. But I never got over 42 mph. I think this is a very good mod for the average rider. It will give you a bottom end boost and its free.

Never had a problem or adverse condition at all. I did the same thing on my neighbor's Rancher AT and he loved it!
