Wondering if anyone here can help with a strange issue.

I rebuilt my 300ex motor and to start the motor I have to hold in the clutch whether the quad is in neutral or not. Neither the neutral or reverse indicator lights come on either.

Occasionally the starter will not turn over until I put the quad into reverse and then back out of reverse and then it will start as in the 1st sentence.

I have tested the reverse and neutral switch per the manual and they seem to test good.

Maybe it is the reverse inhibitor?
