Default swash plate angle

The swash plates are inside the hydrostatic transmission .. The pump side swash plate is at a fixed angle (it never moves) the motor swash plate is adjustable , your shift control motor changes the angles everytime you push the up/down shift buttons (or ECM changes the angle if your in auto mode) as the swash plate angle changes the angle sensor relays the changes to the ECM ..

That's not 100% how it works but close enough for you to understand the principle ( I have pages & pages & PDF files & files on how it works but I'm not going to type all afternoon.. LOL ..

Now the angle sensor has to have a pre-load on it as it's installed .. What is your email address and I will email you the shop manual section ...

I am currently trying to repair my father in laws 2004 TRX 400FGA. I have a fair working knowledge on atvs and other automobiles but this is my first Hondamatic. I was wondering if you could send me the shop manual so I know how to preload the swash plate sensor among other things. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
