It's an 02 Foreman 450. I have gas to the carb but no spark. Installed new plug and still no spark. ( Ground off frame paint and tested the plug there) Everything on the screen looks OK, green light comes on when key is turned on and is in N. Starter turns over strong.

Can anyone suggest what I should check next? Your help is greatly appreciated. I really don't want to take it to the dealer.

Never mind guys! Boy don't I feel like the Bozo in the room. I let my helper use it to work around my place a few days ago. I only use the key for my on/off. He used the red switch. I overlooked the obvious.

You won't believe how many times a year we have someone come in and say that there machine doesn't start. Come to find out the kill switch was off or out of gas or gas turned off. Oh ya and the grandkids where on it and must have shut it off, and those who don't even know that it has a kill switch

 

Thats funny. I should have known better because I knew it had a kill switch and didn't check. Oh well, I got to learn how to take apart my rig and now it has a new plug. It has a good starter too!

 

april of 2003 I got a new t shirt with "KILLSWITCH" Put on the back.
Got pulled out of the woods, cussed honda, cussed the dealer.. Yep been there.

 

Thanks, makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one to do that. I wonder how many of us have done that, and will admit to it?
