Is my Clutch Working Properly ???
#1
With the back tires off the ground and the clutch depressed I put the bike in first gear. When I let out the clutch the tires move as they should. Then when I depress the clutch the tires still move at the same speed and do not stop until I click the gear selector to neutral. This happens no matter how much I adjust the screw on the handle. I would think the tires should stop when I pull in the clutch.
What can I do to fix this? What's wrong with my clutch system?

Are you still accelerating, or just rolling? I was doing donuts yesterday with my 300ex, and when I pull in the clutch my tires are still moving from the momentum. If you are still having problems, you can call Gordon. I sent our phone # with the last email.

If you have your back wheels off the ground, put it in gear and let out the clutch, wheels spin, pull in the clutch, wheels still spin, right? Next, try having it in gear with wheel spin, pull in the clutch and hit the rear brake. Does the engine stall out? If not, your clutch is fine. Put it on the ground. Start engine, put in gear. Does it stall? If not, your clutch is fine. Now then, when you ride it and you hammer the throttle, does the clutch slip? If it does, re-adjust until it doesn't slip anymore.
Now, go for a ride and quit worrying!
