foreman450 blowing fuses

Default foreman450 blowing fuses

alright i got a 2002 foreman 450. i was riding and turned the lights off then back on and it blew the main fuse. i was able to put a fuse in it and start it without the lights though. now it wont even do that? it will only pull start now any suggestions?

this is just a suggestion but maybe you should buy a whole new wiring kit for your starter and headlights

The starter and the headlights are on the fused circuit, so you have right there isolated the problem to those wires that are beyond the fuse. This is most likely just a light wire that has gotten pinched or worn through its insulation, and is just shorting out. I would start at the lights and work backward, and I bet you will find it pretty quick......

And yes, it should still push/recoil start just fine, so everything fits a pattern typical of a simple short.
