My atv starts but stalls when when i put it in gear (any gear) When i turn on the ignition if the oil light lights it will work, no light it will stall

 

Same frusteration with my 1987 Honda fourtrax 350 cc. Started everytime, but as soon as I put it in any gear it would stall. After a carb job, on occasion it would I could get the bike moving just to have it stall again. I took it to Alsport in Regina, SK and they fixed the problem. Part - CDI unit was faulty (#30410-HA7-672 - part number). Cost $150.00 and the bike runs awesome!! Hope this helps.
