One good way to extend the life of your machine is to add a good fuel stabilizer, such as Star Tron. It neutralizes the ethanol and keeps it from destroying the rubber parts in your fuel system. You can put it in everything from your string trimmer to a truck. Really good stuff.

 

Yes, I had a couple of the older models that had points that I have since converted to the CDI system. Pretty easy change really.
