Default need gas tank

Can anyone suggest a supplier who can supply me with a used / aftermarket gas tank for a 1986/1987 honda fat cat. I'm not sure of the year but, it's the blue and white model. My tank is rusted beyond repair. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

My buddy has a FC, and I love that thing! I think you are going to have to try a salvage place, or make one yourself.

The 1986 TR200 had a black motor and the engine serial number started with 50 .... The 1987 TR200 had a silver motor and the engine number started with 51 ...

There are several companys that make a gas tank epoxy/sealer for coating the inside of fuel tanks , red-kote and KBS are 2 good ones .. Those bikes are getting hard to find and finding one that's been sitting will probably have a rusty tank to ..

Try Mr Cycles. 1-800-359-0567. They have a web site www.mrcycles.com. and list parts for older Hondas.

Thanks for the lead and info on the different years. I realize that there are products for coating tanks unfortunately the damn ethanol is eating away even the best of them. My friend works at Moroso Performance products and gave me their best epoxy filler only to have it eaten away in less than a year. thanks for the info. It's greatly appreciated

I'm looking at salvage yards right now with very little luck. I wished a company would realize that Fat Cat owners are facing problems finding parts. Someone could make a considerable amount of money just making aftermarket products just for this machine. I would LOVE to find someone who makes a plastic gas tank. As far as making a tank, unfortunately I'm not that talented. (ha ha) thanks for the suggestion.
