Default rincon water pump

I have a question. I have a 2003 rincon 650. Went to pull it out to go for a ride and the water pump was leaking. Got out my trusty service manual, and according to it, the mechanical seal needs replaced. The manual even told you how to take the pump apart, gave you the part numbers of all the "specail tools" you will need. Went to the local honda dealer, and low and behold you can't buy the seal, you have to buy the whole pump. This, even after the manual says you can replace the seal, does anyone have a part number for the seal, or am i going to have to succumb to big industry and buy the whole pump. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark

Default rincon water pump

You mean the o-ring on the impellar shaft?
I did this for a friend last year.
Try Bikebandit.com for the seal.
I don't remember using any "Special tools", but your mileage may vary.
(Damn dealers)
