Default new rim and tire question

i know there has been talk about the front and rear tires being the same size, does it really matter since stock ones are different size? i have the 420 rancher.
front-ITP mudlite AT 25x8x12
rear-ITP mudlite AT 25x10x12

rims-ITP c-series type 7 in black

what are the pros and cons of each?

rims

I don't think anyone understands your question? Are you thinking of running different height tires front and back like 25 front 26 back?.

Default new rim and tire question

no. im getting new rims and tires soon. the factory sizes are 24x10x12 on the rear and 24x8x11 on the front. i am looking at 25x8x12 on the front and 25x10x12 on the rear. should i keep the same width as the stock ones (8 and 10) or should i get 10 all around?

sorry for the confusion

Default new rim and tire question

I have the 25/8/12 front and 25/10/12 on back its a nice upgrade from stock. I think the 10" up front is going to make steering harder and you may have some clearance issues. I have Vision 161 wheels which have a wider offset than stock about 1.5" so it makes the machine 3" wider overall. I haven't had any steering issues but it is a known problem that bump steer increases with the wider stance.

Default new rim and tire question

the problem i see with the after market rims is the front and rear are 7 inches wide the originals are like 6 " on the front and like 8" on the rear. if you spend a little more and go with the 14" rims they will come 6 on the front and 8 on the rear

7"? is not the 8 and 10 meaning the width of the stock tire in inches?
