Went and bought a 2007 Honda Rubicon in Navy Blue. I also bought:
2" High Lifter Lift
High Lifter Heavy duty rear springs
ITP Mud Lites 27x12x12(rear) 27x10x12(front) and they will be on ITP SSAlloy 112 black/clear wheels.
I also had them install a Warn winch and had them put the Synthetic rope instead of a cable.
Anyone else have the Synthetic rope on there winch? Is it really better?

Congrats.
Yes, I have a synthetic cable winch on the Rincon, and it is nice. It tends not to tangle up on the drum, doesn't kink, it's lighter, and you don't have to worry about a broken strand slicing your hand open. You should still wear gloves, though. Also, though I think the synthetic would be less likely to rip your face open and/or break your teeth out if it snapped, I'd still tie something to the middle of the run if you really pull hard.
As far as care and feeding of the synthetic line goes, it probably came with a little sleeve maybe 18" long over part of it. If you pull over a ledge with sharp rocks or whatever, slide that sleeve down the cable to protect it from the edges. I'd also be a little more careful not to gouge up or raise burrs on the fairlhead. I put 1/2 of a boat trailer roller on my cable (the center V kind). It only costs a couple bucks, and it makes a nice bumper to allow you to reel in enough to keep the cable tight so nothing rattles or tangles without smashing the steel hook into the rollers...
