At first the 440 seemed slow when I was out riding by myself and running through the gears in the sand. I had the opportunity to drag race a DMC piped, boost bottle, rad valved, SurTraks, experienced rider '00 Banshee and lost by a length in 600' in wet sand. We raced again, keep in mind that this is the second time this motor on the 440 has seen 9000 rpm, I lost by 1/2 length. With a stock motor I would have lost by alot more than a half length. Sorry as it may sound I'm very happy with my losses and can't wait until the motor loosens up abit. Shee's are a b*%$h to beat.

Check out the QwikSilver carb for the TRX-it kicks some serious booty. Out here in the desert the Duncan/GWC team swears by them. I bought one and love it! It was still more than a Lectron at $400 through GWC but worth it in my book.

I like the LRD setup. They use a ceramic coating on the piston to help with lubricating an to get rid of piston heat.
