hey honda machanic i got a 250x i bought in pieces. i got it put back to gether and it starts but will only rev up a little bit. i had to build my own wiring harness that was the only thing i didn't get. and on all the wiring diagram s find it shows 2 wires from the mag pickup and mine only has one a blue/yellow wire any help would be great

Yes you should have a B/Y (blue/yellow) wire coming out from the flywheel that is the pulse generator wire , you should also have the exciter winding wires ...

i got one more thing i need help with and i know now you are the man. I also have a 98 300ex that all the wiring melted on the front of the bike and i need to know what wires to connect and what not to start and kill it thanks
