I put 12" steel rims on the back with 25" Executioneers all the way around and I lost no power. I never could pull a mean wheely put I could lift the wheels, and I still can. I did notice a larger turning circle but with the stock tires I got stuck if I spit on the ground, but with the executioneers I have been in mud and water over the tires and I have never gotten stuck.... Yet.....

I'll put in a vote for the stock rims with 25" mud bugs wraped round them... I would have never tried them but they came with my used 2wd Rancher. They'll still let the rear end slide around turns on the hard stuff/wet grass, but they're hard to get stuck in the mud. I have a set of stock tires on another rancher and it doesn't handle near as well.. The bugs help it to turn much flatter...
