Sorry that I missed reading this post.
If you use it, make sure that the engine does not get too hot from the clutch slipping. If your centrifical clutch drum is warped, the clutch shoes/weights may not get hot and it can be ok

you probably have water or a short in the angle sensor i have one in the shop right now for the same problem if it is still under warranty it should cover it

my 400 AT wont downshift properly
Hello i am new to this forum and I have a 2006 Honda Rancher FGA that wont shift properly in automatic. I have followed through the steps posted by Gimpster regarding the downshift problem and cant get any codes to come up at the beginning and the display will not flash "--". It stays in 'N'. i tried turning it off and starting over several times with no luck. Could someone tell me why it wont show the "--" please. am i doing something wrong? thx
