Default winterization

I have a 2007 420 4x4 ES Rancher. I have had no issues with this bike.

What do I need to do for winterization. I only use the bike for deer hunting and plowing snow. From April through Septebmer, the bike will not get much use.

Please comment on the fuel injectors and what/how gas plays a role while not in use. What I mean is will the gas gum up the fuel injectors? Do I need to let the bike run till the gas runs out for storage or any length of time for inactive use to save my fuel injectors?

What else do I need to do to winterize?

simple, fuel staybil in a full tank of gas, ride it for 10 minutes, if you have one take your battery out and leave it on a battery tender. On 2 strokes i always fog the engine but on the rancher probably dont have to, not a bad idea to change the oil when you get it back out

if you want to be **** put it up on blocks so you dont get flat spots or dry rot on the tires. Can also hit it with WD-40 to help prevent rust when it sits all season... I never winterize my atvs but I have been doing boats for years with same basic stuff
